Meet Abby Read
Abby Read is the head of Haynes Boone’s global wellness strategy and manages the firm’s organizational well-being initiative, HB Well, which offers resources, programs, trainings, and confidential support to all 1,100+ employees at the firm. She is charged with leading efforts to raise awareness of behavioral health challenges, facilitate reduction in the incidence of problematic substance use and mental health distress, and improve and support our lawyers’ and employees’ overall health and well-being. Abby has extensive experience building large-scale, innovative and holistic programs that serve the unique needs of various workforce populations including the legal, medical, and public education sectors. She is passionate about influencing positive change within organizations and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Abby is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and is certified in Mental Health First Aid and trained in Critical Incident Stress Management.
