London Training Recruitment
The London office of Haynes Boone is fully committed to providing high-quality training and support to our trainees. On our two-year training contract, we will provide two seats of one year each in the litigation/arbitration group and the non-contentious group. Trainees in those seats will work with different teams across the range of the firm’s practice areas within the relevant group during each seat. Practical training will be given with plenty of support and feedback. Applications for one 2024 Training Contract and two 2025 Training Contracts are currently being accepted through 18 June 2023. What we are looking for:
- A strong and consistent academic record and to be on track for, or have obtained, a 2:1 degree minimum
- Take on responsibility, have commercial awareness, commitment, energy and spark
- A sense of community and enthusiasm to participate
Selection process:

- 1st interview in person with two partners and our office administrator. A written test is given.
- 2nd interview assessment day in our London office –
- interviews with partners from the contentious and non-contentious groups
- joint candidate interviews with associates and counsel
- presentation to lawyers
- lunch with lawyers
