Press Release

Adrian Azer Named Haynes Boone Washington, D.C. Office Managing Partner

January 18, 2024

Haynes and Boone, LLP is pleased to announce that Adrian Azer has assumed the role of office managing partner for the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

Adrian has been with the firm for just over six years, first joining as counsel before being promoted to partner at the beginning of 2020. Adrian is with the firm’s Insurance Recovery Group, representing corporate policyholders in a variety of complex insurance coverage matters. He has represented public and private companies, non-profit entities, and government contractors. He also handles litigation matters against insurers in state and federal courts across the nation and in various arbitration tribunals.

“I am honored and thrilled to take on this role,” Adrian said. “The opportunity to take a leadership role in the Washington, D.C. office is exciting and I look forward to working with our exceptional team of lawyers.”

This leadership change caps a year of exciting growth in the area for the firm, which began the year by opening a new Northern Virginia office and closed it with the addition of Life Sciences Counsel Sharon Crane in D.C. and the partner promotion of Intellectual Property Attorney Jonathan Bowser. It also coincides with the announcement of the firm’s new office administrative partner in Mexico City, Patricia Mastropierro.

Haynes Boone’s Washington, D.C. office is located two blocks from the White House, allowing lawyers to maintain excellent working relationships with senior federal government officials. The office’s focus also includes complex corporate and finance work, as well as sophisticated intellectual property matters.
