Haynes and Boone, LLP Shanghai Office Managing Partner and Chief Representative Liza Mark has been named general counsel to the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai’s Board of Governors (AmCham Shanghai).
AmCham Shanghai was the third American Chamber established outside the United States, and it now has 2,800 members from 1,000-plus companies. As a non-profit, non-partisan business organization, AmCham Shanghai is committed to the principles of free trade, open markets, private enterprise and the unrestricted flow of information.
Since opening Haynes Boone’s Shanghai office in 2013, Liza has concentrated her practice in private equity investments, securities, and cross-border M&A. With more than 20 years of experience at law firms in the U.S., Hong Kong, and Shanghai, Liza is eminently qualified to help her clients fulcrum between the different legal and business environments of these three countries.
