Maseo Brown
Maseo Brown is an associate in the Private Equity Practice Group in the Houston office of Haynes and Boone, LLP.
His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, capital markets and securities, and other commercial transactions.
Prior to joining Haynes and Boone, Maseo earned his law degree from Tulane University Law School. While earning his degree, Maseo served as Vice President of the Business Law Society, Community Outreach Chair of the Black Law Students Association, Legal Extern at the New Orleans BioInnovation Center, and Senior Member of the Moot Court team. He also spent a semester studying international business law at the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law, where he learned about foreign direct investment into and out of China.

- Represented Streamland Media LLC in its acquisition of Ingenuity Studios, LLC, a U.S. and Canada based visual effects company.
- Represented Streamland Media in its acquisition of SIM Video International’s post-production picture and sound finishing services business.
- Represented NextGen Healthcare, Inc. (Nasdaq: NXGN), a leading provider of innovative cloud-based healthcare technology solutions, in its acquisition of TSI Healthcare, a privately held value-added reseller located in Chapel Hill, NC.
- Represented NextGen Healthcare, Inc. in its sale of QSIDental to Planet DDS as part of an effort to deliver cloud-based software to dental practices across North America.
- Represented Denner Vineyards, a producer of critically acclaimed wines from California’s Central Coast, in the sale of its business to E. & J. Gallo Winery.
- Represented Tri Global Energy (TGE), a leading US renewable project developer, in its sale to Enbridge Inc. for $270 million.
- Represented a Dallas based private equity firm in its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of a leading provider of light vehicle alloy wheel repair, remanufacturing, and wholesale services.
- Represented American Airlines in the negotiation of a capacity purchase agreement between American and SkyWest Airlines, Inc. establishing a four-year deal with SkyWest to handle various flights with regional aircraft on behalf of American.
- Represented The Financial Services Network, a national enterprise office that provides a variety of administrative, consulting, compliance and operational services for more than 400 independent financial advisors, in its sale to Mariner Wealth Advisors.
- Represented Strides Pharma Science Limited, an international pharmaceutical company, in its definitive agreements with subsidiaries of Endo International to acquire its manufacturing facility in New York and various Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDAs).
- Represented Valesco Industries LLC, in its sale of all of the equity of Central Texas Ingredients I, LLC, a food and beverage wholesaler, to Adams Flavors Holdings LLC.
- Represented Tarus Therapeutics, a leading biotechnology company with its four best-in-class assets targeting different aspects of the adenosine pathway, in its sale to Portage Biotech.
- Represented Tracsis plc (UK based public company) in its cross-border acquisition of RailComm LLC, a leading provider of mission critical automation and control solutions that reduce costs, increase safety and improve operation al efficiency.
- Represented the U.S. subsidiary of a European construction company with respect to the sale in an auction process of its aggregate, concrete and rubble recycling facilities across Texas.
