Haynes and Boone CDG Featured in Chambers UK Guide 2019

Haynes and Boone CDG, LLP has again been ranked in the Chambers UK legal directory, published by Chambers and Partners. The 2019 guide ranked the firm highly in the Shipping, UK-wide category for its skills in the shipbuilding and offshore energy sectors.

Chambers UK also recognized Senior Partner Simon Curtis and Partners William Cecil, Melanie Willems and Tom Ferns.

In its profile of the firm’s Shipping Practice, Chambers UK quoted a client who observed: “The firm's availability, strategy building and ability to work with our team are outstanding.” Another client praised the team's "ability to provide well-reasoned alternative language to complex contractual terms as opposed to lengthy legal explanations."

The guide says that Melanie Willems is "extremely bright and very passionate about her clients' needs" and “is particularly proficient in representing clients in the oil and gas sector in commercial and projects disputes.”

Partner Tom Ferns has been featured in Chambers UK 2019 as a Recognised Practitioner in the Corporate/M&A: Mid-Market practice area.
