The Global M&A Network LLC has selected Haynes and Boone, LLP as a finalist for the top USA Energy M&A law firm honor, which will be awarded Nov. 29, 2018 at the 10th Annual Americas M&A Atlas Awards in New York.
The awards honor the top performing firms and dealmakers in North and South America. Firms are selected on the basis of closed deals, resources, proven record, client service and team leadership, according to the Global M&A Network, which said, “winning the award equates to achieving the ‘Gold Standard of Performance’ standing in the industry, validating the firm’s and team’s capabilities.”
Additionally, Haynes and Boone advised clients in two transactions selected as “deals of the year” in the 2018 Americas M&A Atlas Awards.
A team of lawyers led by Houston Partner Bill Nelson advised Alta Mesa Holdings, LP in its $3.8 billion combination with Silver Run Acquisition Corporation II and Kingfisher Midstream LLC, which was selected as “Large Energy M&A Deal of the Year.”
A Haynes and Boone team led by Dallas Partner Bill Kleinman and Counsel Bo Sartain advised OraMetrix, a technology solutions provider which was acquired in 2018 by Dentsply Sirona. The transaction was chosen as “U.S.A. M&A Deal of the Year” in the $100 to $250 million-dollar category.
