A Haynes and Boone, LLP team represented Dallas private equity firm Valesco Industries in its investment in Silver Street, Inc., d/b/a mediatechnologies (“MediaTech”), a premier, custom, and semi-custom furniture manufacturer producing furniture for the K-12 education market. Haynes Boone represented the Valesco team in connection with its acquisition of MediaTech and the debt financing to consummate the acquisition.
Headquartered in Shelby, Mich., MediaTech sells a range of products in the seating, tables, desks, storage, and workstation categories across the U.S.
Valesco is supporting a control recapitalization, partnering with the existing management team and HighGrove Companies to optimize essential business processes. Additionally, Valesco has identified substantial growth opportunities via operational improvements, expanding the sales and marketing team, and extending MediaTech’s geographic presence.
Valesco focuses on making control and non-control investments in select growth-oriented small- and lower- middle-market businesses engaged in manufacturing, distribution and business-to-business services.
