The Global M&A Network this week named Haynes Boone as the Energy M&A Law Firm of the Year for 2021. In addition, Partner Janice Sharry and a private equity deal team received notable awards during the virtual M&A Atlas Awards ceremony May 25-26.
Sharry – who is a part of the firm’s Capital Markets and Securities and M&A practices – received the USA Top Women Dealmakers Award.
In the “Private Equity Acquisitions” category, Trive Capital was named Private Equity Deal of the Year for transactions above $200 million and below $1 billion. Haynes Boone represented Trive Capital in its sale of AEVEX Aerospace.

Haynes Boone represented Trive Capital in the sale of AEVEX Aerospace to Madison Dearborn Partners and CoVant Management. AEVEX is a leading provider of full-spectrum airborne intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance solutions. The firm has worked with Trive on multiple acquisitions, divestitures and add-on transactions through the years.
