June 21, 2019

Profiles in Diversity Journal has named Haynes and Boone, LLP’s Jennifer Reddien to its list of Women Worth Watching for 2019.

Reddien, the firm’s director of Diversity and Inclusion, was featured in the publication’s 18th anniversary issue here. The honorees will share their words of wisdom with other women in the publication.

Reddien was nominated for being “a steadfast advocate for diversity, equality and inclusion and a rising star at Haynes and Boone, LLP. As Director of Diversity and Inclusion, her charge is to help strategize, elevate, implement and execute the firm’s diversity plan. She closely monitors progress and helps ensure the firm achieves measurable results.”

Since joining the firm in 2018, Reddien has led a series of unconscious bias workshops, spoken on numerous panels, met with client companies, initiated new diversity communiqués, and further energized the firm’s Attorney Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

Reddien has spent much of her career pursuing diversity and inclusion efforts. Prior to joining Haynes and Boone, she was executive director of The Chicago Committee on Minorities in Large Law Firms, a non-profit organization that promotes racial and ethnic diversity in the legal profession. Before that, she spent many years as a litigator and served as co-chair of the Diversity Task Force at her previous law firm.

In addition to her background and personal experiences, Reddien’s passion for equality makes her an effective and invaluable leader at Haynes and Boone. She is developing initiatives that encourage lawyers to draw upon their unique experiences and backgrounds to develop their careers and grow with the firm.

Reddien also is an active member of the Association of Law Firm Diversity Professionals, Inc. and other minority organizations.
