LoC is a nonprofit devoted to promoting diversity in the legal profession and advancing democracy and equality in marginalized communities. They celebrate attorneys of color and conduct research and studies regarding the intersection of the legal profession and social justice. LoC has been recognized by the American Bar Association, National Black Law Students Association, and National Association of Black Journalists. They provide research, career development, and brand marketing opportunities to their clients and have a social media and email community of nearly 50,000 legal professionals, the largest of any minority legal organization.
