Haynes and Boone, LLP Partner Daniel Lisk moderated two recent panels during events hosted by the iGlobal Forum.
On March 24, Daniel moderated the “Top Trends Driving Change in Commercial Real Estate” panel during the 22nd Real Estate Private Equity Summit.
During the session, the panelists discussed the following topics:
- An overview of where commercial real estate capital markets are headed in 2021; and
- The trends and factors that are impacting various asset classes, including alternatives, office, retail and hospitality products.
The Summit also included presentations on fundraising, valuations, and key areas of investment for 2021.

Most recently, Daniel moderated the iGlobal Forum’s “Sustainable Real Estate: The Rise of the Green Investor” webinar on April 7.
The key discussion points during the presentation included the following:
- The application of ESG strategies to commercial real estate analysis, investment decisions and company management;
- C-PACE financing as a means to reduce cost of capital and finance energy efficient improvements and renewable energy projects;
- The role of ESG data analysis, measuring progress and reporting.

Daniel represents real estate funds, financial institutions, developers and property owners in a range of commercial real estate transactions, including mortgage and mezzanine financing, equity investments, construction lending, loan syndication, property acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, workouts and restructurings. He is an active member of the Board of Directors of WaterAid America and the Board of Trustees of Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts. Daniel serves on the Firm’s Alumni Committee, Attorney Integration Committee and Sustainability Committee.
