Haynes Boone Partner Kit Addleman was recently recognized at the Women’s White Collar Defense Association (WWCDA) 2025 Awards Gala as a recipient of the Laurie A. Miller Leadership award.
This award is presented to members of the WWCDA for “achievement in the white collar field and trailblazing or tireless support in moving WWCDA forward in its mission … around the world.”
“Receiving the Laurie A. Miller Leadership Award is truly humbling,” said Addleman. “Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to learn from and work with incredible colleagues who share a passion for integrity and fairness. WWCDA’s mission resonates deeply with me, and I’m honored to play a role in fostering opportunities for women in this important field.”
Addleman is highlighted on the WWCDA website for her receipt of the award. Her feature reads:
“Known as a ‘powerhouse lawyer’ in securities enforcement defense, Addleman has built her nationwide practice advising public companies, officers and directors, investment advisors, private funds and broker-dealers concerning securities investigations. She has successfully defended clients in civil and criminal investigations and litigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission and Department of Justice, advised clients on compliance with securities regulations and conducted internal investigations of suspected corporate misconduct. Addleman is a partner at Haynes Boone where she chairs the firm’s government investigations defense group.
Prior to joining Haynes Boone, Addleman served at the SEC for 22 years as regional director of the Atlanta Regional Office, leading the enforcement, examination and bankruptcy programs in five Southeastern states. Addleman also served the SEC in its Fort Worth, Denver and Philadelphia offices.
