Hannah Beard
Biography
Hannah Beard is an associate in the Energy, Power and Natural Resources Practice Group in Haynes Boone’s Houston office. Her practice focuses on a variety of energy transactions, including crude oil, natural gas, traditional power, and renewable energy. She handles matters relating to the negotiation of complex commercial agreements, the acquisition and disposition of energy assets, and energy finance.
Hannah graduated summa cum laude from Baylor University with a B.B.A in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, & Business Fellows. Additionally, she received an Outstanding Achievement Award in Business for her work as an analyst for the Baylor Angel Network where she evaluated investment opportunities for Baylor investment funds and investors. She also is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Alpha Lambda Delta honor societies.
Hannah earned her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, where she served as Vice President of Communications for the Student Bar Association and was an editor of the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law. She also worked as a Research Assistant to Dr. Henry T.C. Hu where she researched innovations in corporate governance.
