Biography

Laura Beth Bienhoff is an associate in the Energy Litigation Practice Group, based in Houston, Texas.

Prior to pivoting to law, Laura Beth enjoyed a career at a major oil company. She held a variety of commercial roles spanning the upstream hydrocarbon life cycle—research to production—and encompassing oil, gas, natural gas liquids, and power. Laura Beth supported projects across the globe, including several years based in London. Her experience allows her to have an unparalleled understanding of the technical and business aspects of oil and gas issues for the benefit of her clients.

While in law school, Laura Beth interned for the Honorable John P. Devine at the Texas Supreme Court and returned as a judicial law clerk. While there, she observed firsthand how judges interpret, apply, and advance Texas law while enriching her ability to develop persuasive and concise arguments to give her clients an edge.

Laura Beth holds a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Kansas State University. She completed her M.B.A., with honors, through Duke University's Global Executive program. Laura Beth graduated from the Texas School of Law, where she served as an Articles Editor for the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law and an Associate Editor for the Texas Law Review.
