Weijia Cao
Biography
Weijia Cao is an associate in the Finance Practice Group at Haynes Boone’s New York office.
Weijia’s practice focuses on derivatives transactions, including the negotiation and documentation of equity and index swaps and options, credit default swaps, as well as cryptocurrency/digital asset-linked derivatives and proprietary indices. He also represents lenders and borrowers in a variety of complex structured finance transactions and commercial and corporate finance matters, including margin lending, cash and synthetic prime brokerage, securities lending and repurchase, structured equity financing, net asset value and hybrid fund finance facilities, and cryptocurrency custody, sales, and lending.
Prior to joining Haynes Boone, he practiced at a New York law firm, where he advised on securities offerings, corporate finance, and corporate governance matters.
