Biography
Francisco Gaytán is an associate in the International Transactions Practice Group in Haynes Boone’s Mexico City office. His practice focuses on providing corporate advice to both domestic and multi-national companies in Mexico, including corporate and cross-border issues, regulatory compliance, foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions, contractual negotiations, and financial transactions.
Francisco has advised clients from a wide array of sectors including in the telecommunications, energy, retail, automotive, manufacturing, aviation, and agricultural industries.
Additionally, Francisco has relevant experience assisting foreign clients and multi-national companies regarding their operations in Mexico, including advice on the set-up stage of their investments, employment and regulatory compliance, company incorporation, foreign investment authorizations, financial operations, and asset sales/purchases.
Francisco’s practice previously focused on commercial and constitutional litigation, which allows him to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to his corporate practice, identifying methods to reduce potential liabilities and contingencies which may affect client transactions.
