Dallas Jackson
Biography
Dallas is an associate in the Energy Litigation Practice and Crisis Management Group in the Houston office of Haynes Boone.
Dallas clerked for Chief Judge Rodney Gilstrap of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, where she assisted Judge Gilstrap in the disposition of several complex patent litigation matters. Her clerkship experience in a federal court bolsters her practice.
Dallas has wide-ranging experience representing clients in a variety of different matters, including high-exposure personal injury and wrongful death matters, complex commercial disputes, and even in a high-profile capital murder habeas proceeding. Dallas also has hands-on experience as a trial lawyer. In her third year of practice, Dallas sat as second-chair representing one of the largest energy companies in the world in a two-week jury trial in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas (Hittner). She handled the direct and cross-examinations of important witnesses in the case, which ended with a unanimous verdict in the client’s favor.
