Jefferson Lee

Jefferson Lee is an associate in the Patent Prosecution and Counseling Practice Group at Haynes Boone's Orange County office. A registered patent agent with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Jefferson focuses his practice on patent prosecution involving software and hardware technologies. 

As a summer associate at Haynes Boone, he drafted patent prosecution documents for financial software, hardware, optical, and semiconductor inventions.

Before beginning his legal career, Jefferson worked as a software engineer on systems ranging from medical devices and e-commerce analytics to aerospace firmware.

Jefferson earned his J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where he served as vice president of the Intellectual Property Law Society. He received his B.S., cum laude, in Computer Science and Engineering, from the University of California, Los Angeles.
