J.D. Rimann

J.D. Rimann is an associate in the Insurance Recovery Practice Group in the Austin office of Haynes Boone. J.D.’s practice focuses on insurance matters, insurance recovery, and complex business litigation across a range of industries and sectors, including real estate, construction, and healthcare. His experience includes antitrust and securities litigation, sports-related disputes, investigations, and matters involving administrative and commercial law.

Before joining Haynes Boone, J.D served as a law clerk to Judge Cory Wilson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and Judge Sean Jordan of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Before clerking, he practiced at another international law firm.

Prior to law school, J.D. spent time as a policy analyst at a prominent national think tank and as a legislative staffer in the Texas Capitol. He currently serves as an officer in the Air Force Reserve and previously served as an intelligence officer in the Army National Guard.
