S. Benjamin Schindler
Biography
Benjamin is an associate in the Insurance Recovery Practice Group of the Dallas office of Haynes Boone. Benjamin’s practice focuses on insurance matters, insurance recovery, and complex business litigation in a wide array of industries and sectors, including real estate, manufacturing and processing, oil and gas, healthcare, private equity and other financial institutions, banking, hospitality, entertainment, and trading/logistics, to name a few. In his practice, Benjamin represents corporate policyholders in complex insurance matters (both in and out of litigation) to maximize insurance programs and insurance recoveries under all lines of corporate insurance policies. He does so in a streamlined way and tailored to the unique needs and wants of each client. Benjamin understands that there is no one-size-fits all approach and gives each client the attention they deserve, treating their business as though it is his own. Benjamin also represents clients and works closely with brokers in insurance consulting roles, such as prior to and during insurance renewal, on coverage strategies, placing poligies and programs, and on policy wording and drafting. Benjamin recovers insurance proceeds that his clients’ insurers previously denied or withheld and does so with the utmost enthusiasm and professionalism. He also works with brokers to optimize policy placement and wording based on the specific needs of each business. Benjamin prides himself on being efficient, results-oriented, and enjoyable to work with, and has a track record that speaks for itself.
Benjamin was born and raised in Dallas and is active in the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Insurance Law American Inn of Court, as well as the American Bar Association and the Insurance Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, where he received the 2019 Ben Love Scholarship prior to graduating from law school at SMU. Outside of the office, Benjamin is an enthusiast of health, fitness, golf, skiing (anything outdoors), his family/dogs, and being plugged into and giving back to his beloved Dallas community. Benjamin is also well-connected in the Dallas community (legal and otherwise) and at the firm, and loves to connect people for business and pleasure. Please do not hesitate to reach out to him with any questions on insurance, insurance coverage or otherwise.
