Biography
Kelli Walter is an accomplished civil litigator with a track record of representing individuals, corporations, and fiduciaries in high-stakes, complex disputes. Her practice spans a wide range of matters, including fiduciary disputes, cybersecurity incidents, probate litigation, and royalty underpayment claims. Whether advocating in court or advising behind the scenes, she brings a strategic, thoughtful approach to every case.
Named a "Top Attorney in Civil Litigation" by Fort Worth, Texas Magazine and a "Texas Rising Star" by Texas Monthly, Kelli is deeply committed to both professional excellence and client service. - Represented majority shareholder/CEO in expedited proceeding in Delaware Court of Chancery involving allegations of breach of fiduciary duty.
- Successfully prosecuted claims related to cyber security breach resulting in favorable settlement for Fortune 500 subsidiary.
- Obtained successful summary judgment in probate court on behalf of executors of multi-million dollar estate.
- Assisted with successful appeal of shareholder oppression and fiduciary duty claims.
- Represented over 13,000 royalty owners in MDL Litigation related to royalty underpayments; obtained $52.5 million settlement.
- Obtained another favorable settlement of MDL royalty claims related to royalty underpayments in South Texas after obtaining successful jury verdict of first cases.
