Haynes and Boone, LLP congratulates Partner Jeremy D. Kernodle on winning Senate confirmation to serve as a U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Texas.

As a partner at Haynes and Boone, Kernodle defended numerous high-stakes cases in federal district courts and appellate courts across the country. He served as chair of the firm’s False Claims Act/Qui Tam Practice Group and has been an active leader in the Dallas community.
Before joining Haynes and Boone, Kernodle served as an attorney-adviser in the Office of Legal Counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice, where he was among a small number of lawyers advising the White House and other senior Executive Branch officials on constitutional and other significant legal issues.
