CB&I is seeking an experienced Principal Attorney, Regulatory Compliance to help design and implement the company’s global, risk-based compliance framework. Based in The Woodlands, Texas, this on-site role will advise on enterprise compliance, regulatory strategy, internal investigations, data privacy, and risk mitigation across CB&I’s international operations.
Responsibilities include developing compliance policies and controls, conducting risk assessments, supporting confidential internal investigations, responding to regulatory examinations and inquiries, and strengthening the company’s privacy and data-protection program. Qualified candidates should be licensed or eligible to practice as in-house counsel in Texas and have eight to 10 years of experience building and overseeing compliance programs, along with experience involving EU and UK regulatory compliance, GDPR, data governance, and regulatory investigations.

This is a flexible opportunity ideal for an attorney with significant litigation experience who is interested in an Of Counsel, part-time, contract, or hybrid arrangement. Based in Denton, Texas, this role will provide strategic legal guidance across commercial operations, manufacturing, engineering, construction, procurement, innovation, sustainability, intellectual property, labor and employment, litigation, and corporate governance matters.
The Senior Legal Counsel will work closely with business teams across the U.S. and Canada, as well as regional and global Legal Affairs colleagues. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, advising on legal risks and compliance, managing litigation and outside counsel, supporting labor and employment matters, and serving as corporate secretary for U.S. Tetra Pak entities.
