Law360 Highlights Haynes and Boone Lawyers in New York Deals

Law360 this week highlighted two large deals in Manhattan that were handled by Haynes and Boone, LLP lawyers.

In a matter that ranked among the largest New York City real estate deals publicly disclosed the week of April 1, Mactaggart Family and Partners bought a property on West 25th St. for $43.3 million from High Line Realty Associates LLC. In connection with the purchase, Mactaggart scored roughly $32 million in financing from TH Commercial Mortgage LLC, Law360 reported.

Haynes and Boone Partners Rebecca Landau and Larry Mittman represented TH Commercial Mortgage with the matter with support of Associate Abbey Hone.

Haynes and Boone also represented EJS Real Estate in connection with a $95 million construction loan for a Manhattan mixed-use project announced April 8. Haynes and Boone also represented EJS in connection with the related joint venture with Midwood Investment & Development.

The loan, from Bank OZK, is for a project at 150 E. 78th St. EJS is partnering with Midwood Investment & Development to build 25 luxury residential condo units with retail space on the ground floor.

EJS Real Estate was represented by Haynes and Boone Partner Brad Lavender, co-chair of the Real Estate Practice Group, Partner Jeremy Herskowitz, Counsel Andrew Silberstein, and Associate Thomas Carroll.
