Haynes and Boone LLP has added top intellectual property litigator Adam Siegartel from Proskauer Rose LLP to join its trademark practice group as a partner at its New York office, where he will lead the brand management group and work on diverse IP matters.
Siegartel, whose hiring was announced May 17, previously managed the trademark prosecution and brand management group at Proskauer and is also a first-chair litigator. His 16 years of experience has spanned myriad aspects of IP law — including running litigations from start to finish, managing worldwide portfolios, handling trademark prosecution and working on issues related to advertising, copyright, right of publicity, domain name and other IP issues.
He told Law360 on Tuesday he’s looking forward to working with the national team of lawyers in Haynes and Boone’s preeminent trademark group, noting their work with worldwide brands across a variety of industries.
