Bridging the Trinity

September 26, 2009

The Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, designed by Santiago Calatrava, marks Dallas' bold step into the 21st century, and serves to improve and refresh several sectors of our society. Committed to unifying our community, invigorating our economics, and protecting our environment, The Trinity Project is hosting an interactive outdoor party. The Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge will contribute significantly to our community's economic activity. Condominiums and apartments, office buildings and restaurants, boutiques, bike shops, and DART stops will line significant sections of the corridor. The bridge will link various neighborhoods, encouraging community revitalization, innovation, and expansion.

The four-mile Trinity Trail system will explore the Great Trinity Forest, a perfect place to hike and bird watch. Pedestrians, joggers, bikers, and rollerbladers will find pleasure in the corridor's paved pathways, while kayakers and fishermen will enjoy the winding river and two new lakes. The project also boasts an expansive horse park and an impressive soccer complex.
