Increased production of natural gas in North America has resulted in the region being a net exporter of petroleum products. LNG and petrochemicals are prominent among those export products. Due to global demand for these products, a number of export projects have been completed and a new wave of projects is currently under consideration.
Our panel will review the current industry trends with respect to LNG and petrochemicals, and the new approaches, challenges and opportunities being addressed by the next wave of projects. Among the topics to be discussed are:
- Current and projected market demand for LNG
- How changes in demand will alter the profile of future LNG projects
- Differentiators between the LNG market and the petrochemicals market
- Comparison of past and projected petrochemical project structures against LNG project structures
