Agriculture technology remains a hot topic even though it's been nearly a decade since the first big investment move in the industry. The interest in agriculture, and also food innovations, has not been slowed by the pandemic, which may surprise many.
Why is that so? There are several reasons, and some relate to the pandemic. To get a better understanding of the agtech investment strategies at play, we turned to Roger Royse, a partner with Haynes Boone, a Palo Alto, California, law practice. Royse, who was raised on a North Dakota farm, has long watch ag tech investment, and has been involved in several deals too.
