Haynes Boone Partner Alan Herda has been elected to serve on the board of directors for The Dallas Opera. Herda is one of seven new board members.
The board of directors governs The Dallas Opera through five meetings each opera season including three with the trustees, its supervision of the general director and CEO, the work of its standing committees, and its review and approval of the company’s annual budget.
“The varied backgrounds and universal love for the arts of these members will bring fresh, new perspectives to The Dallas Opera and will help broaden the impact and appeal of opera across North Texas,” said Quincy Roberts, chair of The Dallas Opera.
