Flying High: Deborah S. Coldwell Named 2022 Legal Eagle for 18th Year

March 30, 2022

Haynes Boone Partner Deb Coldwell has again been featured in Franchise Times’ Legal Eagles listing of the top franchise practitioners in the U.S. This is Deb’s 18th time to be named a Legal Eagle.

Legal Eagles are “star legal professionals” who have been nominated or recommended by peers, clients and the publication editors, according to Franchise Times.

“These lawyers live and breathe franchising and truly understand the nuances of the unique business model. In a world of chaos and uncertainty, these exceptional professionals are more necessary than ever,” the publication states.

Franchise Times asked some of the Legal Eagles to share franchising trends. Deb said: “Encroachment claims seem to be making a comeback. Even distinct brands under one corporate umbrella that should not be considered as competitors are now being forced to defend against encroachment claims.”
