May 12, 2025

Haynes Boone Partner Diana Liebmann has been elected a fellow of the American Bar Foundation (ABF). Membership is limited to just one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction and is achieved through peer nomination and ABF Board selection.

The ABF Fellows global honorary society recognizes attorneys, judges, law faculty and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and to the welfare of their communities. ABF fellows hail from nearly 40 countries and hold a wide variety of influential roles.

"I am honored to be elected as a fellow of the American Bar Foundation,” said Liebmann. “I am excited to contribute to the Foundation's mission of advancing justice and the legal profession, and I look forward to collaborating with this esteemed group of professionals to make a meaningful impact in our field."

Liebmann leads the firm’s Power and Renewables Practice Group from the San Antonio office. Her broad transactional experience and in-depth focus on the details of wholesale and retail power regulation and market structure enable her to effectively guide clients with respect to structuring transactions, compliance and in the investment and deployment of capital in electricity markets. Clients have relied on Liebmann’s legal advocacy and regulatory experience to guide them through multiple restructurings of the electric power markets in Texas. She offers clients synergy between her transactional work and her experience creating the rules for the evolving ERCOT market.
