Institute for Energy Law (IEL) has selected Haynes Boone Associate Grant Armentor to participate in its 2025-2026 Leadership Class. Designed for energy professionals, the IEL Leadership Class is comprised of individuals from eight U.S. states, Washington, D.C., Mexico and the United Kingdom.
Starting in August, the IEL Leadership Class will have regular meetings to increase its knowledge of leadership, communication and the energy industry. Participants will discover their strengths, the traits of excellent leadership and opportunities for success as energy professionals in today’s climate.
“This selection is both a personal milestone and a professional privilege,” said Armentor. “The IEL Leadership Class represents a unique chance to challenge myself, expand my perspective and build lasting relationships with others who are passionate about shaping the future of energy.”
Armentor is an associate in the Energy, Power and Natural Resources Practice Group in Haynes Boone’s Houston office. His practice includes a broad variety of energy-related transactions, including crude oil, natural gas and renewable energy. He handles energy finance matters as well as the acquisition and disposition of oil and gas properties.
Founded in 1959, the Institute for Energy Law is one of the divisions of The Center for American and International Law. The IEL is a membership organization and counts many of the leading energy companies and attorneys among its international membership. It presents several educational conferences and seminars each year, publishes papers and periodicals and provides an important forum for discussing contemporary issues affecting the energy industries.
