Haynes Boone Advises Power Sustainable Infrastructure Credit on Financing for Sagepoint Logistics Platform

August 10, 2026

Haynes Boone advised Power Sustainable Infrastructure Credit (PSIC) in connection with a senior secured financing involving Sagepoint Logistics, a subsidiary of Sagepoint Energy.

The financing enables PSIC to support the launch and expansion of Sagepoint Logistics' dedicated truckload carrier powered by renewable natural gas (RNG), including the acquisition of 60 Class 8 heavy-duty trucks and related fueling infrastructure.

The transaction represents the next phase of PSIC's relationship with Sagepoint and advances the company's vertically integrated renewable natural gas platform into transportation, further connecting waste-derived fuel production, fueling infrastructure and end-use freight transportation.

Sagepoint’s initial fleet operates throughout the Midwest, with capacity to expand into additional markets over time.

The Haynes Boone team was led by Partner Arthur Cohen, with support from Counsel Karina Oshunkentan and Associate Christian Nunez.

“Our team was pleased to support PSIC on this strategic financing,” said Cohen. “This transaction reflects our experience advising clients on complex infrastructure financings and our ability to support innovative projects that advance the energy transition. We are proud to have played a role in helping PSIC and Sagepoint expand this integrated renewable natural gas platform.”
