Kristina Pierre-Louis Recognized in 2024 National Association of Women Lawyers Rising List

March 06, 2024

Haynes and Boone, LLP Associate Kristina Pierre-Louis is recognized in the 2024 National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) Rising List. The NAWL Rising List recognizes early- to mid-career attorneys committed to NAWL’s mission by either advancing women in the profession or advocating for women under the law.

Since 1899, NAWL has been empowering women in the legal field cultivating a diverse membership dedicated to equality, mutual support and collective success.

“I’m honored to be listed among these women,” Kristina said. “My passion for mentoring diverse female law students perfectly aligns with NAWL’s mission to empower women in the legal profession.”

Kristina formally participates in Haynes Boone’s mentorship programs with SMU and UTA.

“I have always loved mentoring my younger colleagues, and that love has only grown here at Haynes Boone,” she said. “I often meet with my mentees in person to discuss interview skills or internship struggles. Mentorship feels so small in the moment, but it fosters a culture of giving back to those younger than you. In a male-dominated field, we need organizations like NAWL to help guide women to where they deserve to be. Seeing women in leadership gives others hope that there is a better future coming.”

Kristina is an associate in the Litigation and Insurance Recovery Practice Groups in Haynes Boone’s Dallas office. She received her law degree from Penn State Law, where she served as the Justice of the William Penn Chapter of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International and a clinical fellow in the Family Law Clinic. She received her undergraduate degree in international business from Pepperdine University while working at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
