Haynes Boone Partner Larry Pascal was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the non-profit Kozolchyk National Law Center, an international leader in commercial law reform.
The Center’s mission is to build the future of international economic development and create inclusive economic opportunities through sustainable legal solutions that strengthen local economies increasing access to credit, promoting employment, trade and investment.
“The Center is devoted to the reform and modernization of commercial laws throughout the world and has been very active in Mexico and Central America, in particular,” said Larry, who is chair of Haynes Boone’s Americas Practice Group and co-chair of the International Practice Group. “It is an honor to work with such a dedicated group of professionals in working to modernize commercial laws, strengthen financial infrastructure, and implement regulatory reform and in the Americas and elsewhere.”
Larry brings more than 25 years of experience to his work advising companies on cross-border transactions, workouts, and disputes throughout the Americas and elsewhere. He has extensive experience in the real estate, energy and infrastructure, agribusiness, financial services, technology, and aviation sectors.
In addition to his new post with Kozolchyk National Law Center, Larry serves on the energy board of the Washington, D.C., think tank Inter-American Dialogue and the executive committee and board of directors of the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth. He has been very active with the World Services Group, one of the largest international law firm networks in the world with over 145 members in over 130 countries, where he previously served as the Chair of this organization.
