Biography

Lauren Coppola, a partner in Haynes Boone’s Boston and New York Litigation Practice Group, is laser focused on obtaining the best results for her clients- in and out of the courtroom. Lauren is a litigator with experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of complex commercial disputes. Her experience includes cases involving business torts, employment matters, trade secrets, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, civil RICO, and mergers and acquisitions. Lauren has an active trial practice, and has appeared and argued in a variety of forums, including state and federal courts and in arbitrations in New York, Massachusetts, Illinois, California, Delaware, and around the country. In addition to her trial work, Lauren is an accomplished appellate lawyer, and has successfully argued appeals before the federal Court of Appeals and state appellate courts. She is often brought into cases to help frame and preserve critical issues for appeal.

With two decades of experience in the telecommunications sector, Lauren advises clients navigating this rapidly evolving industry. She draws on her deep industry insight and a strong understanding of her clients’ business objectives to craft effective litigation strategies. Lauren has handled numerous high-stakes, high-value cases involving intercarrier compensation and regulatory compliance. She works closely with telecommunications companies to enhance profitability, manage risk, and advance corporate goals through strategic regulatory, litigation, and transactional approaches. Lauren also represents competitive providers on matters of regulatory policy, compliance, litigation, and dispute resolution before the FCC, state public service commissions, and federal courts.
