Katrisha Harris

Katrisha Harris is an associate in the Real Estate Finance Practice Group at Haynes Boone’s Dallas office. She brings a unique combination of litigation and transactional experience to her practice. Focused on real estate finance and capital markets, Katrisha advises clients on remedying complex distressed loans for commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) lenders and servicers and other financial institutions.  Her experience includes loan workouts, assumptions, and noteholder remedies, including foreclosures and receiverships.

Her ability to navigate intricate financial structures is strengthened by nearly a decade of prior experience litigating commercial disputes in state and federal courts across the country. Before transitioning to real estate finance, Katrisha represented clients in high-stakes commercial litigation and employment matters. Her diverse background allows her to deliver practical, strategic solutions for clients navigating complex real estate and finance challenges.

Prior to joining Haynes Boone, Katrisha was an associate attorney at a full-service regional law firm in Dallas, Texas, and most recently at Holland & Knight LLP.
