Biography

Eric Lindenfeld is a seasoned business and mass tort trial lawyer who represents clients in high-stakes disputes involving fraud, fiduciary breaches, contract claims, and complex commercial torts. He has built a reputation for navigating cases that demand both financial sophistication and strategic trial advocacy, often where millions of dollars and reputations are at stake.

Eric’s practice spans federal and state courts, arbitration forums, and multi-district proceedings. He has represented investors, entrepreneurs, and corporations in matters ranging from RICO and securities fraud claims to disputes arising out of failed joint ventures and deceptive commercial practices. Recent work includes prosecuting fraud and fiduciary duty claims involving tens of millions in diverted assets, defending directors and officers in product liability and wrongful death cases, and guiding clients through the challenges of parallel civil and regulatory proceedings.

Before joining Haynes Boone, Eric practiced at a leading national trial firm, where he tried some of the country’s most prominent and complex civil litigation matters, including nationwide mass torts involving opioids, e-cigarettes, and social media harms. His practice also extends to public impact litigation, representing Native American tribes, municipalities, states, nonprofit organizations, and advocacy groups in cases involving public health, consumer protection, and antisemitism-related issues.
