Alejandro Ojeda

Alejandro Ojeda Lavoignet is an associate in the International Practice Group in Haynes Boone’s Mexico City office.

His practice focuses on providing corporate and tax legal advice to companies in Mexico, including corporate and regulatory compliance, corporate tax matters, foreign investment, internal investigations, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, contracts and regulatory issues in general.

Alejandro also represents foreign clients before tax authorities in national and international disputes, as well as fiscal and administrative litigation. His practice has been focused on tax refund procedures for unduly paid taxes and those generated as a credit balance resulting from daily or exceptional company operations, successfully defending the interests of his clients.

Additionally, Alejandro has been involved in corporate, contractual and tax strategies developed for both domestic and international corporations, creating the design and implementation of efficient corporate structures that involve international tax and cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
