Biography
Stephanie Spell is a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group in Haynes Boone’s Dallas office. She advises sophisticated real estate owners, investors, and capital providers on complex, high value transactions across the United States and internationally, with an emphasis on long term client relationships and repeat engagements.
Stephanie represents institutional investors, private equity sponsors, publicly traded and private REITs, pension funds, investment managers, and developers in connection with acquisitions and dispositions of single assets and portfolios, real estate joint ventures, preferred equity investments, and debt financings, including mortgage, mezzanine, and construction loans. Her practice spans stabilized assets and large-scale development projects across a broad range of asset classes, including office, multifamily, hospitality, data centers, industrial, single family residential, and mixed-use properties.
Clients regularly engage Stephanie as primary deal counsel across multiple transactions and platforms, relying on her commercial judgment, market perspective, and ability to manage complex negotiations efficiently across counterparties, jurisdictions, and asset types. She also advises on development and construction matters, ground leases, and sophisticated leasing arrangements, and her work frequently involves cross border investment structures and foreign capital.
