Biography

Chelby Sterling is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group in Haynes Boone’s Houston office. She is also a member of the firm’s Nuclear Verdicts and Trials Practice Groups.

Chelby’s litigation practice is rooted in a deep commitment to understanding her clients’ industries and business objectives. She has experience representing manufacturing companies, professional organizing companies, national sports associations, and energy and oil and gas clients in complex disputes.

In addition to her commercial practice, Chelby maintains an active pro bono practice focused on helping families obtain guardianships for adults with special needs, assisting clients in navigating the legal process to secure appropriate care and support for their loved ones.

During her final year of law school, Chelby served as a Managing Editor on the Tulane Maritime Law Journal and was awarded the Robert Force Award for Outstanding Managing Editor.
