Biography
Tenzin is an associate in the Investment Management Practice Group in Haynes Boone’s London office.
On the investment funds side, his primary focus has been on advising emerging managers on the structure and launch of venture capital funds across various jurisdictions and has also worked closely with various management teams and potential investors to provide a commercial legal advice throughout the duration of the fund.
Tenzin has also worked with early-stage companies on their financing rounds, both through equity and debt investments, and provided general ongoing support to aid the companies in their growth journey.

- Advised 4BIO Capital on the formation of its third VC fund in the UK achieving a final closing commitment in excess of $150 million and providing ongoing support to the management team.
- Advised on the formation of an offshore VC fund with a focus on SME growth companies based in the EU with a focus on technology led sectors.
- Advised on the launch of the healthtect focused VC fund with a wide geographic cover and provided follow-up advisory assistance in relation to its warehoused assets in the UK, Ireland and Germany.
- Advised a UK startup on its Series A extended fundraising round (equity and convertible loans) involving restructuring of the management group and provided general advisory support on day-to-day issues to startups.
- Advised on £2 million secured loan note instrument from an offshore entity into a UK company involving cooperation with finance partner to deal with underlying security documents.
