The Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP) honored Haynes and Boone, LLP with the 2020 Gold Star Award for Pro Bono Service for law firms with 150 or more lawyers in the Dallas area. This was the sixth consecutive year the firm has been honored for its outstanding pro bono services in Dallas and beyond.
Haynes and Boone was recognized during the virtual DVAP Pro Bono Awards Celebration on Oct. 30.
“We are proud to again receive this honor in recognition of our pro bono contributions in the past year,” said David Taubenfeld, partner and co-chair of the firm’s Pro Bono and Public Service Committee. “Despite the pandemic, we have seen our lawyers and staff continue to devote countless hours to providing legal aid to those in need.”
DVAP is an organization dedicated to increasing and enhancing pro bono legal services to low-income people in Dallas through the recruitment, training, and support of volunteer attorneys.
Additionally, Taubenfeld was featured as DVAP’s October 2020 Volunteer of the Month.
