International law firm Haynes and Boone LLP is relocating to larger offices in London having more than doubled partner headcount in under three years.
As of Monday 12th August 2019, Haynes and Boone will occupy 13,289 sq. ft of comprehensively refurbished Grade A office space at 1 New Fetter Lane, within walking distance of Chancery Lane and The Royal Courts of Justice, and with excellent access to both the West End and City. The firm currently occupies 8,500 sq. ft at 29 Ludgate Hill a short distance away.
The move reflects Haynes and Boone’s significant growth in London and its commitment to further expansion. Since entering the market in 2016, the firm has bolstered its London capabilities in arbitration, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, finance, energy and shipping.
“When we opened our London office, we pledged to quickly add capacity to serve clients.” Haynes and Boone Managing Partner Tim Powers said. “We have fulfilled that promise, and, with our new office space, we are in a perfect position to sustain our momentum.”
The dynamic space will be configured in a semi-open plan, with private meeting rooms and break-out spaces, providing flexible workplace options that promote innovation and collaboration within the office, and with colleagues worldwide. The new office also contains entertainment facilities, including a bar and business lounge, and a wellness room.
The fit-out has emphasised the use of sustainable, eco-friendly products and the firm’s officer designer, Oktra, took pains to minimize construction waste even donating reusable carpet tiles to a charity in Hackney, where they now line the floors of a community hall for local residents.
