Albers, a member of the Haynes Boone executive committee, serves as trusted adviser to Fortune 500 companies and high-growth ventures on the management of their valuable brand investments. She has been recognized by Chambers for bringing "an amazing personality and a fantastic reputation" to her work on portfolio management and trademark enforcement for domestic and multinational companies. She also has been highlighted by World Trademark Review for her "sophisticated brand management skills" and "incisive analysis, commercial awareness, and fast turnaround times."

Chen is an experienced patent attorney who prides himself in providing a client-first approach to representation. He is dedicated to understanding his clients’ business goals, strategies, and priorities. Clients value Chen for his technical knowledge and insight regarding their specific patent issues. Chen’s experience is founded on multiple advanced degrees in electrical engineering and significant related work at Hughes Aircraft, covering a variety of technologies, as well as work on patent litigation matters before the International Trade Commission and district courts.

Lowes, chair of the Haynes Boone Intellectual Property Department, practices with a particular emphasis in medical devices, computer software and hardware, telecommunications, semiconductor devices and mechanical equipment. He is heavily involved in post-grant proceedings before the USPTO, including ex parte reexamination and inter partes review proceedings brought by the firm on behalf of its clients. A number of these proceedings are related to concurrent litigation, and Lowes’ experience in this arena is invaluable in developing defensive strategies in litigation.

McCombs is primary counsel for many leading corporations in inter partes review (IPR) and is regularly identified as one of the most active attorneys appearing before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). His clients benefit from his 41 years of practice, which include appellate argument, patent litigation and portfolio development. Nationally ranked, McCombs has been commended by clients in Chambers stating, “David is awesome, one of our go-to counsels. I'm extremely impressed with his work. He is absolutely first-rate.”
