Haynes and Boone, LLP is ranked among the nation’s Top 7 firms in commercial litigation, according to the BTI Litigation Outlook 2020 report released Sept. 18. The report calls the firm a “Litigation Standout” in commercial litigation.
The ranking is based solely on confidential telephone interviews with corporate counsel at companies with $1 billion or more in revenue and is not sponsored by any law firm. The top-ranked firms, BTI said, “are the ones corporate counsel tell us they are currently turning to for their most pressing litigation needs.”
“Clients want law firms who can speak fluently about settlements but also are ready to take on a matter which can get out of hand,” the report states, referring to the commercial litigation market. “Client demands of law firms are up, along with client risk.”
Ben Mesches, partner and co-chair of the firm’s Litigation Department, said the ranking underscores the firm’s commitment to excellent client service. “We deeply appreciate our clients’ faith in us and for consistently entrusting us with their litigation needs,” he said.
