Ellen Gibson McGinnis, co-head of the Haynes Boone Fund Finance Practice Group, has been named as a Fellow of the American College of Commercial Finance Attorneys.
This prestigious honor recognizes legal professionals who demonstrate preeminence in commercial finance law and have made significant contributions to learning and scholarship in the field. Fellows are nominated by the College’s Fellows Nominating Committee, endorsed by the Executive Committee and formally elected by the Board of Regents.
McGinnis specializes in advising clients on subscription-secured credit facilities, a product she has been involved with since its inception in the late 1980s. Regarded for her critical thinking and innovative approach, McGinnis provides practical and thoughtful advice to clients, meeting their commercial needs. She serves as trusted counsel for U.S. and foreign institutions lending to private equity funds. McGinnis also handles various transactions within the practice, including hybrid collateral facilities and international multi-currency transactions.
