Haynes Boone acted for Helix Exploration on its fundraising to accelerate its helium development plans in northern Montana. Helix Exploration is listed on the AIM sub-market of the London Stock Exchange and is focused on the exploration and development of helium deposits in Montana.
Founded by industry experts with extensive experience of helium systems in the U.S., Helix Exploration originally became AIM-listed in April 2024. This round of fundraising will go towards drilling two additional wells and building surface processing infrastructure, with the aim of reaching first helium production by the end of the summer.
Haynes Boone Capital Markets Partners Nick Heap and Nick Davis led the deal team along with Associate Ravina Mahajan.
This transaction is the sixth since the beginning of March for the seven-attorney London capital markets team that joined the firm in February. “We’re proud to support Helix Exploration as it develops in the market further, and this transaction reflects the strong momentum our London capital markets practice has built since joining the firm,” Heap said. “Completing the deal in just one day underscores the agility, collaboration and deep experience our team brings to fast-moving transactions.”
