Haynes Boone Advises Tracsis PLC on Two Transactions in One Week

August 4, 2026

A corporate team from Haynes Boone's London office advised Tracsis PLC, a leading transportation technology provider, on the sale of Tracsis Events Ltd to a management team backed by UK private equity investor Connection Capital, marking the second deal on which Haynes Boone has advised Tracsis in the past week.

Connection Capital acquired 100 percent of the issued share capital of Tracsis Events. The transaction will enable Tracsis Events to continue its growth as an independent business while allowing Tracsis PLC to further its strategic focus on scalable transportation software solutions.

Tracsis Events provides traffic management, parking management and event logistics services for major sporting and entertainment venues, retail destinations and large-scale events across the United Kingdom.

The transaction follows Tracsis' recently announced $64 million (£48 million) acquisition of Mistral Data Ltd from FirstGroup PLC

The Haynes Boone team was led by Partner Tom Ferns, with support from Counsel Natalie Georgiou and Associates Chris Orford and Michael Byrne.

“Completing two significant transactions in a single week is a great result for Tracsis as the business moves into its next phase,” said Ferns. “It’s been a fast-moving and exciting period. Congratulations to David Frost, Andrew Kelly and the whole Tracsis team.”

The deal continues the momentum of the London corporate team, capping a record 2025 and an exceptional 2026 that has included Ferns and the corporate team advising Chicago Bridge & Iron Company on its acquisition of Petrofac's Asset Solutions business in a landmark cross-border transaction.

Haynes Boone’s M&A Practice Group has extensive experience handling middle-market transactions, having advised on more than 500 deals over the past five years with an aggregate value exceeding $50 billion.
